Adamit is a rare natural stone, valued for its well-formed crystals and bright colors, ranging from pale yellow and honey yellow to green, pink, or purple. From a mineralogical perspective, it is a zinc arsenate that forms in oxidation zones of zinc deposits, where it can develop individual crystals, radial aggregates, rosettes, and crystalline crusts. Remarkable specimens of adamit come from Mexico, especially the Mapimí area, Durango, but the stone is also known from other mineral-rich regions of the world.
In crystal therapy, adamit is associated with joy, love, creativity, enthusiasm, and perseverance. It is associated with the solar plexus chakra and the heart chakra, and its elements are Fire and Air. In spiritual traditions, adamite is used to support optimism, express creativity and turn inspiration into action, being considered a stone that connects the will with what motivates us and brings us joy.
