Epidote is a natural stonerecognized for its shades of yellow-green, dark green, and brownish-green and for its crystals with a glassy luster. From a mineralogical point of view, it is a calcium, aluminum, and iron silicate from the epidote group, which frequently forms through metamorphic and hydrothermal processes. Epidote is found in numerous regions of the world, and its type locality is in France, in Bourg-d'Oisans, in the Alps.
In crystal therapy, epidote is associated with releasing negativity, adopting positive patterns, and amplifying what we express and cultivate in our own lives. It is associated with all chakras, and its elements are Water and Earth.
