Sculpture made from natural selenite, polished in the shape of a knife, with a white-translucent appearance and satiny reflections characteristic of this mineral. The shape primarily has symbolic significance and is found in crystal therapy practices, but the piece can also be used as decoration or added to a collection of crystals and minerals.

Selenite is a crystalline variety of gypsum, recognized for its fibrous structure and silky reflections produced when light passes through or reflects off the surface of the mineral. Being a natural material, each piece can show small differences in hue, transparency and structure.

Properties in crystal therapy

In crystal therapy, selenite is associated with purification, mental clarity and energetic harmonization. The knife shape is used symbolically in some practices for "cutting energy bonds" (cord cutting), representing the detachment from energies, attachments or patterns considered undesirable.

The piece can also be used in energy cleansing or meditation practices, the elongated shape being symbolically associated with energy directing.
