Blue-green chrome chalcedony from Zimbabwe – a rare piece for collectors
In the heart of the African earth, where rocks bear the imprint of rare and deep minerals, this chrome chalcedony was born – a stone that combines emerald green charm with diaphanous light blue shades, like the sky filtered through a dream.
It is a natural, unaltered form of chromiferous chalcedony – a mineral difficult to find, extracted exclusively from Zimbabwe, and valued for its vivid color, which does not come from nickel (as in chrysoprase), but from the chromium that pulses deep within its crystalline structure. In this special variant, the blue and green inserts create a fascinating color play, with smooth transitions between translucent and opaque, dense and airy.
Its texture is lively – with veins of milky chalcedony, subtle quartz fractures, and rusty spots of matrix – all testimonies of a slow formation, in a complex and tension-filled geological environment.

Maintenance and care
To preserve the beauty and energy of authentic crystals, clean them periodically with a soft cloth and lukewarm water, avoiding chemical detergents or mechanical shocks.
For semi-precious stones used for energy purposes, it is recommended to purify them by rinsing them under cold water, by exposure to moonlight or with the help of palo santo or salviei.
Find them a place where they can be protected from direct sunlight, to keep the natural minerals in pristine condition and keep them shining.
